My Weightloss Journey

The title of this blog says it all. Dante wanted to change location (Barthalomew Park) for our session today and do a full body and very high intensity workout, which he called a Breakthrough Workout. He invited 2 of his other clients and I invited my cheerleading squad of my parents and Aleasha. I also had a last minute surprise from one of my clients who came all the way down from Sacramento to come out and support me (Thank you Audrey!) I also had a local Elk Grove friend stop by to show her support too (Thank you Sherene!).

This was by far the hardest workout I have done in the last 3 weeks, as you can see from the not so flattering image above of me after the workout was over. I pushed myself through it but it was hard with very few rest periods. The frustrating thing for me right now is that my head says you can do it, yet my body says whoa whoa whoa, what the hell are you thinking?!?!? I know its only been 3 weeks and soon enough my head and my body will become one. I am really looking forward to that. I was definitely pushed to my limits with this workout. I did like the grappling with Nato Ruiz. I can feel it in my arms and legs, which were already on fire from Wednesdays session with Dante.

Afterwards Dante took us all out to lunch at Dos Coyotes and showed me what I could eat. After choosing something off the “lite” menu, which still was not very healthy I selected the chicken and rice dish. I posted a photo of it in an earlier post.

This weekend I would love to just rest, but I have to keep the momentum going with my running. Both Saturday and Sunday will have 2 scheduled 30 min running sessions.
