On Saturday my best friends came up and we spent the day together. I technically would have had 2 meals outside my home that day, but I ate my lunch at home and then when we all went out to lunch to Mikunis I just had a cucumber salad and a protein shake.

Surprisingly it does not bother me at all watching others eat whatever they want, while I made healthier choices. Just goes to show you how focused you can be when you set your mind to it.

After lunch we went out and did some activities that involved walking so I kept active all day. I did save my cheat for Saturday night so that I could take them to The Eatery in West Sac. I have been craving their hamburger. Dante and I discussed this ahead of time and he actually took the time and called the restaurant to inquire about how the hamburger was made. I thought that was really sweet of him to do that. Lucky for me it was all fresh, although it was a typical restaurant burger 80/20. Not a typical meal I would eat due to the high fat content, but again this was my cheat for the week.

Once we arrived at the restaurant I looked at the menu and even though I got the green light from Dante, I still looked at healthier alternatives i.e. salad with protein. But Dante told me I deserved the cheat because I have been working so hard. It was a tough choice but I gave in and ordered the burger. All I can say was it was well worth it. :)
